1. Reservations & Rates

How do I book a room?

Via our “Book” section, you can check availability for each of the accommodations according to your dates of stay. Fill in your details, proceed to payment and you will receive confirmation and instructions by email.

What payment methods are accepted?
Credit cards from all over the world. Unfortunately, we do not accept vacation vouchers.
Is there a deposit to pay?
Payment for the reservation must be made in full on the day of booking.

2. Timetables & Arrivals

What time can we arrive and leave?
We take great care in preparing our accommodations to ensure that your experience is the best it can be. This imposes an incompressible cleaning and preparation time. Arrival is from 4pm and departure no later than 11am.
Do you offer late check-in/check-out?
Check-in before 4pm or check-out after 11am is not possible.
Do I need to notify you if I'm arriving late?
No problem at all. You will receive all the instructions for accessing the accommodation the day before your arrival. For your convenience, key boxes are provided with a unique code for the duration of your reservation. After 4pm, you can arrive at any time of the day or night.

3. Equipment & Services

Is breakfast included? What are the opening hours?
Breakfast service is not provided. There are several bars and bistros in the village center, just 200m from the house. Breakfast formulas are available.
Is there a parking lot? Is it free?
Two parking spaces are located 150m to the left and right of the house. It’s public and free, but still quite safe (Gevrey Chambertin is a peaceful village). It’s not possible to park on the street, which is narrow and primarily reserved for local residents.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
Is there a Wi-Fi connection?

Of course. A WiFi connection is installed in the accommodation for your convenience. The access code is given in the welcome booklet.

Can we cook on site?
All kitchen equipment is available on site.
Is linen provided?
Linen and towels are of course provided for your stay. We take care of everything for your comfort on site.

4. Meals & Catering

Do you offer a meal service?
We do not offer meal service. However, there are several restaurants within a few hundred meters of our gîtes. Pizzerias, brasseries and even a Michelin-starred restaurant are just a few minutes’ walk away.

5. Activities & Environment

What can you do in the area?

Nature walks, visits to vineyards, wine tasting, bike rides, cultural visits to Dijon or Beaune, Citeaux abbey, swimming, unusual activities… There’s no shortage of things to do in our beautiful Burgundy region. Are there any local events not to be missed?
The Saint-Vincent Tournante is usually held on the last weekend in January, and is a not-to-be-missed event. Still on the subject of wine, you’ll love the traditional Beaune wine sale. Other sporting events are also popular with visitors.

6. Access & Transportation

How do I get there (car, train, plane)?
The best way to reach the house is by car: Exit the A31 at Dijon or Nuits Saint Georges. Coming from Paris on the A6, exit at Velars sur Ouche. In all cases, enter “La Maison Pinot Noir” on your favorite GPS device and it will guide you to us at 11 rue de Paris – 21220 Gevrey Chambertin.
By train, you can arrive at Dijon station and choose to reach the house by cab / VTC. Or drive to Gevrey Chambertin station. As the house is in the historic town center, you’ll need to walk 2.8km from the station.
By plane, the nearest airports are Dole-Tavaux, Lyon Saint Exupéry or Paris.
Is there a shuttle bus or public transport nearby?
The bus can be adapted from Dijon via the transco 114 line. It takes about twenty minutes.
Is it possible to rent bicycles or cars on site?
There are no car rentals in Gevrey Chambertin. You can rent one directly from Dijon via national services like Hertz, Europcar or Sixt, or via car-sharing services like Getarround.

7. Policy & Rules

Are there any special rules?

– The apartment is cleaned by a professional cleaning company. If anything is not to your liking, please contact us.
The apartment is offered to you clean, and must be returned in a suitable condition.

– Arrival and departure times are NOT subject to change.

– The apartment is strictly non-smoking. If the apartment smells of cigarettes, your deposit will be cashed in full.

– Departure is at 11:00 am maximum. Any overrun will incur an additional €25/h penalty.

– Please respect the neighborhood. No noise between 10pm and 8am. Parties are strictly forbidden.

– We’re sorry to have to reiterate these points, but we’ve had to deal with too many unfortunate abuses in the past.

Are the rooms non-smoking?
Yes, smoking in the apartment or at the window is strictly forbidden. If the apartment smells of cigarettes, your deposit will be cashed in full so that a specialized company can be called in to clean it up and ensure an ideal experience for subsequent tenants.
Can we organize events or privatize the guesthouse?
Although the house is made up of several apartments, it is not possible to organize events there. The apartments are not suitable for groups of 8 or 10 people, and this would not be comfortable for you, nor for any other tenants sharing the premises.
